    .22 ammo prices vary

    just finished a trip through eastern wa, oregon and northern california
    prices for .22 ammo vary a lot! These prices are from small shops not the big boys like walmart and cabables

    WA.....avg $4.25 / 50
    OR.....avg $5.00 / 50
    CA......avg $7.25 / 50

    powder was available at all locations
    WA....$ 24.00 / lb
    OR.....$ 38.00 / lb
    CA..... $ 42.00 / lb

    One small shop here that actually has 22 ammo, and they have bricks upon bricks, doesn't post the price. A patron must ask the price or be surprised at the register. They scan UPC codes.

    I placed a Remington "Gift Pak", 6 boxes of 50 rnds each plus a small green flashlight with a battery, in an online auction last week. I had gotten this Pak back in the late 1990`s as a gift myself. The auction ended Monday night with the "Gift Pak" bringing in $48.Robert
