Wave washers an the RCBS pro melt

Ever use wave washers under the Allen head bolt or jam nut shown in the pic.
Having a hard time keeping things snug and where they belong. I might give it a try.

I like to keep mine loose so I can adjust it as the pot empties. I used to snug it with a wrench but found it a hassle. I snug the nut with my gloved hand if needed.
I did ever so lightly bugger the threads on the screw so it would be tight in the arm.

I put a stiffish coil spring between the head of the bolt and the nut. Applies constant pressure so reduces the chance that it will "re-adjust" itself, but still allows me to tweak the adjustment with my (gloved) fingers.

    Hi,
Like cheese, I run it loose!
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace.
We ask not your counsels or arms.
Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.
May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” -Samuel Adams
