I wish I had kept all of the ones I have broken the last forty years...

Do they use another different set of shell holders? It says "special" on the URL.

They all use the same shell holders, with the exception of the very old model that had screw in shell holders. I've had all of them except the old screw in model, I like the Ergo the best as it doesn't work my thumb to death as the other models do.

I spent enough on the several Lee capping tools to have bought a good set up in the first place. Finally broke down and spent $60 on a Co-Ax set up. No shell holders, no sore thumb or crimped fingers. Only complaint is the primer magazines don't hold 100 primers. I can live with it.

I sure wish they still supported the screw-in model. In fact, a screw-in model with a bronze or steel body and handle for durability would be pretty close to my dream priming tool. It's compact, has sufficient leverage to do the job, and has easily changed shell holders and priming stud (lg to sm and back.) What's not to love!

I like the old round tray ones and have just watched on Fleabay...picked up a couple of like new ones for very little money..they sit in the drawer waiting for my old one to break...but it just doesn't break.

That's the price if you buy directly from Lee Precision. Their dealer prices are always lower
And if you look on eBay, there a gougers with prices even higher than from Lee directly ... http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=lee+auto+primer
