Postal match 50 yard cf pistol

I would propose a 50yd centerfire cast boolit match using pistols. This can be fired off a bench (no machine rests or craddles) with one support (such as sand bags), body such as the knee or sitting position and un-subported.
    No rimfires.
A standard B8 50 yd. Slow fire target will be used provided by the shooter. Calibers will be grouped such as .25 - .32 caliber, 9mm - 40, 44 - 50. Five shots for score or group? Each target submitted with a $5.00 donation which will be givento this site, after the march Iis over.
    Revolvers/Semi Autos/Break Open/Bolt action catagories.
We are at the discussion stage and hopefully there will be enough interest to proceed. Be Safe R-Ed

Might want open sights/scopes, a scoped pistol doesn't compete with open sights. I would be in for it too.

If you shoot for group, B8 could be a recommendation rather than a necessity. I don't think I have any B8 targets on hand but I will come up with some if it's a requirement. This being the cast boolits forum, the preferred target for purchase is a paper plate; only necessary when there is no box of old paper they brought home from work in 1983 (These characters around here tend to be "thrifty" with themselves and generous with others at the same time).

Are you proposing $5 per target, $5 per shooter, or $5 per family?
Happiness is a couple of 38's and a bucket of ammo.

Ed: Does this rule out 35Cal's ie: 38, 357? They are not mentioned in the original post

.35 caliber would be covered in 9mm-40 caliber (10mm) Steve

I guess paper plates would work as long as rhe group would be definitive that is measurable. Was proposing $5.00 per target. SlugMaster
I appreciate rhe feedback. Tks. Be safe.

.41's go in the 9-40 class or stretch the .44+ to .41+??

    I'm in regardless
