    Being that I'm in the process of putting together two AR-15's right now the math doesn't add up when it comes to using cast in an AR-15 5.56. Cost of lead, cost of the gas check and cost of your time verses the cost of a ready made bullet?

    223 ammo is cheaper at the moment. Some of us look beyond cost. Look at what happened after Sandy Hook. All things AR disappeared and ammo prices shot to ridiculous levels. Sometimes it's about self sufficiency and not cost.
