Ordered My First NOE Molds Today

Having sold a bunch of brass over the weekend I rolled the funds from that into three NOE molds.

    2 cavity 311008 plain base

    2 cavity 360 155 gr wadcutter

    2 cavity 311 165Gr. RF GC (RD)

I also got one of their "M" type expander plugs in 30LR

Looking forward to their arrival. These will be my first high end molds so I expect it to be a pleasant time getting acquainted with them

I would have loved to have gone with the higher cavity count but I have nerve damage that resulted in poor range of motion and strength in my left forearm and wrist. I felt I would be better off with the lighter blocks, even my 6 cavity Lees tire the arm quickly.

They can be addictive. Just remember to follow his instructions to break the mold in.

    Ditto on Oger's advice.
I have bought about 8-10 molds from NOE in the last year and never had a problem that could not be fixed with an email.
My aim was to have at least one HP mold per caliber that I shoot.

It was Christmas in October on Thursday! The new molds arrived, those are some fine pieces of workmanship!

Don't know when I will get to cast with them, my casting bench is piled high with "stuff" that was hurriedly put there over the summer. It will take more than a few minutes to clean it off enough to get room to cast. The RD mold will get used first, I'm eager to see how that one shoots.

I have 4 from AL and the gang, all are a joy to use, but the brass one gives me goose bumps

Now you did it....you will be hopelessly hooked! You will love them!

I don't know how I ever made it without them, waiting on my third and forth. Thinking about selling off my other molds to by NOE's.

I just got my first NOE mold a few weeks ago - a fine piece of craftsmanship and a great mold - I couldn't be happier and the service is excellent. Enjoy!
