Ruger Single Seven Cylinder Latch loose

I got my new Ruger Single Seven 327 and have noticed that the cylinder can rotate about 1/4" counter clockwise when the hammer is down. When the hammer is back, it locks up tight. It looks like the cylinder latch is not coming up high enough to catch when the hammer is down. None of my other Ruger single actions do this. First, is it a concern? Second, if it is, can I fix this, or will I need to contact Ruger to have them fix it?

Is your loading gate open or closed when this happens?
Mine only rotates back a bit when the gate is open.

This occurs when the gate is closed.

Did you rotate the cylinder back enough after loading the last round to engage the bolt? If you didn't, its normal. Just closing the loading gate may not have the cylinder in its proper place.

Talked to Ruger, it has been boxed and is headed back their way for repair.

The cylinder lock up on mine seems to be a little tighter with the hammer back than with it down?, but certainly not a 1/4" of rotation.
My complaint is that the cylinder has to be in just the right spot to load it!, I think I'll massage out the gate notch, shouldn't take much?
