Putting the single six 32 mag to work.

Was out exploring the 1000 yard shooting range, an was packing my single six 32 mag. This little guy took off and stopped about 20 yards away, so I took the shot.

This was the first kill with this gun. 4gn of unique and a 90gn cast bullet.

Dang it! I do not need another pistol in another caliber but that load looks sweet. I bet that is a blast to shoot. Congratulations and thanks for posting.

Nice. Those single six .32's are sweet. I have one, it's fun to shoot easy to reload.

The last thing I need is another caliber, which drives additional base plates, tool heads, dies luber-sizers, loading dies, bullet molds, gas checks, brass stash, .. and um, oh yeah .... a new gun.
My brother in law has a .32 Ruger which is sweet, but what does it really offer over a .38 special, or even a .38+P round?
    Velocity? ...Maybe, maybe not
    Bullet weight? definitely not.
Penetration? That depends on lots of factors, but probably not.
Slap factor & etc? Not really.
    Accuracy? Nope.

Help me here, because I've been haunted by this little round ever since shooting it the first time.
    I want to like it.
I am charmed, but not convinced.

Perfect trap line gun and small game-getter. 100 gr lead load vs 150 average, it is accurate with 2.5 gr powder [red dot] and @ 1050 fps with the slower powders. Compare it not to a 38 but to a 22 lr with 250% more bullet weight and the velocities of a 22 rifle from a handgun.

I said the same thing and then I bought a Single Seven in 327 Federal. Bought some 32 Mag brass today so I had something to load until I shoot up the little bit of factory ammo I have. I definitely didn't need another one especially when it requires more tooling and components.

I have a Single Six in .32 Mag with a very long barrel I need to start working with more. I like the .32s.

I always wanted Daniel dads single six in 22ccm, gotta be different you know. The 32 would make more sense though.
