    Found my calipers!

My wife borrowed my calipers for something while my press was still in storage. When I got my press set up in the spring, we looked high and low for my calipers but could not find them. I bought some digital calipers that have worked fine. Yesterday my wife was cleaning out a drawer that she keeps equipment manuals in and found them. No way they should have been in there. I can only guess that my wife was cleaning fast because someone was coming over. When she does that, she just puts things anywhere to be out of sight. Anyway, I have my calipers back and NO, she is not borrowing them again except with me present!

It's amazing what you find in your own house sometimes. I wish I had a wife I could blame it on.

    Curious?

Usually when I can't find something I will eventually give up looking and get a new one.
After I use it I will put it away, right next to the one that I was looking for and couldn't find.
Go now and pour yourself a hot one...

With regards to gun control in this country, everyone should be asking themselves one question:
What is it that this government feels they need to do, but can't do, unless the citizens of this nation are first disarmed?
(I seriously doubt you can come up with any plausible answers that you will like...)

My wife does that all the time. And yet she gets mad when I say that she "hides things from me".

    Hmph.

If I am going to "hide" something from my wife I don't want her using,
putting it in a coffee can labeled "Doe Urine" or something similar does the trick, she won't go there.

Gorgeous George-hadn't thought of him in years. I think he died back in the 60's. I remember watching him wrestle and he'd get furious if you messed with that blonde hair.

Today I was going to trim some brass. I got the trimmer out and put on the table with my calipers. I then went back to look into the reloading room to get an Allen wrench to change out the pilot. I started looking for the calipers for the life of me could not find them. I was relived to find them next to my trimmer but I felt none to bright. lol.

I can look for something for a Month finally give up and buy a new one then guess what I find the old one just where I put it sometimes the same day.
If I could only remember where I put if first I could save myself a lot of stress.
