30gr with IMR 3031 and the 311284 in my 30-06 shoots great. I'd give that a go and try a few grains up or down for you.

So back along I loaded up ALL of the powder in question. 30 grains in the Krag under the 311284. I am limited to testing at 50 yards in the back yard. One Krag rifle ate it up. The other Krag rifle did ok but not great. With 1901 sights set at 100 yards it was shooting center at 50 yards. No unusual anything. primers looked fine. I'll shoot this ammo soon rather than let it sit but so far so good. No negatives to report.

It's fun shooting these century old centurions.

I shoot mine with trailboss or SR powders. I haven't tried unique or 2400 in it.

I have cast, checked, and lubed several hundred NOE 311284s. In my alloy, they're ready to load at 215gr. Might not be my Camp Perry bullet, but it's going to see some use at my local club. I couldn't ask for a better fit with the check winding up right where it needs to be. Ought to be fun
