    Powder Coating: How, What, etc.

Okay, what do I need to powder coat? Then, how do I do it once I have all the stuff? Can I get the stuff locally (like at walmart, HF, or home depot?)?

I have a small pancake compressor, and my wife has an airbrush for arts and crafts. Will those help?

Read all the stickies. Way too much info to list in a single reply!

    Especially ?Powder coating 101".

    Forget the airbrush.

Powdercoating 101 should do it. If you don't want to spray, you could read "A trick for tumble powder coating" as well.
But you'll probably really like spraying them, since you already have a compressor.

+1 what beagle says, spray it on with a gun from harbor freight. Easy and fast. U need a convection oven and do the baking in a garage and not in your home oven!

Want to be clear it's how you hold your mouth, not how your toes are pointed? This stuff is sooo confusing.

I'm getting ready to give PC a try (after some other projects wind down) so have been doing some reading and keeping an eye out for a used counter top oven. The reading does make me wonder if one is better served by going with good ingredients from the start, just one less thing to have problems with. On equipment hard to beat the cost of cool whip container and some air soft bb's just to give it a try.
