Need info on barrel removal and replacement on a vintage mod. 12 CS circa 1925. I have a spare barrel in good condition. I could use some good advice or info on how to do it. Thanks in advance from a newbie. Robin

well, not to over simplify but it just unscrews. if you are lucky, the spare barrel will time without having to recut the shoulder.
you will need a barrel vise and possibly an action wrench depending on how stuck the barrel is.

Thanks for the help, I had heard that that on the 22 WRF cal. there might be some kind of locking wedge involved. This rifle was made circa 1925 and might be more than a little reluctant to come apart. Thanks again for the info...R.T.
my model 12 did not have any kind of wedge. i do not know when it was made.
