What a feeling! Now I know what it's like. I heard about it, especially the " just wait, it will change everything" and the " You wont believe how great it is" comments, but there is nothing else like it. I am thankful I got to see this day. Just wanted to share my joy.

Congrats flydoc!! Yep, being a grandpa is great. My oldest son and oldest daughter both called on the same day to tell me I was going to be G'pa....so we got two almost at the same time. I'm happy for you. BTW, what did you get & what's the name?

Love being a grandfather, too. To my grandkids, I'm just another playmate, only bigger. Congrats, you will definitely enjoy it.
Nothing like being a grandparent in this world. I have 8 with #9 due next month and #10 due in April.
Congrats, it really is something. About two more weeks and I'm a great grandpa. I can't understand how that's possible, I'm just a kid myself.

Congrats, July, I became a great grandpa and last night, we had "5" generations for dinner with my in-laws being great, great grandparents. It only gets better especially on Holidays.
Congrats, much fun to be had. We just had our 5th grand daughter two weeks ago.
