Setting Lyman 4500 Lubrisizer bullet depth

When sizing/lubing 125gr 9mm bullets if I operate the sizer lever through a full stroke I get LithiBee on the ogive of the bullet. Is there any way to set the stroke depth so that the bullet gets sized and lubed only to the lube grooves? It's kinda a PITA manually stopping the ram part way through its stroke to keep this from happening.

    thank for any suggestions,

The depth adjustment is below the die. Just keep raising it until you get the desired amount of sizing.

If you don't have the manual, here is one online.

Yeah thats the one I was trying to use but i can't seem to get enough adjustment to keep it from burying the bullet and getting lube onto the radius of the ogive. Clearly I'm missing something. lol

    Thanks guys,

I had a similar issue with very short bullets in my LAM2. If you remove the locking nut from the bottom of the adjustment screw and reinstall it on the top you can get it to go up a little bit more.

This is only an issue with very short bullets.
