    1917 barrel ?

Are these 1917 barrels larger diameter at the threads than the 03A3..I bought a barrel thinking it was a03A3 and it won't fit, too big..So if the barrel looks like an 03A3 is it a 1917 barrel.
If it is I'm still looking for a 03A3 barrel. Back to step A again. But I may have a 1917 barrel for sale.

I'll put picks up after get it back from the gunsmith,

the Pattern 14/17 threads are 1.125x10 tpi and the 1903 are 1.040+-x 10 tpi both square profile.

Is the barrel you have a flat face or coned breech face? I would be willing to work out a trade for either style....

I believe it is a Johnson Auto cone breech. NEW or never been on a rifle 2 groove. I peeled the old paper off it..I would very much be interested in a trade for a good 03A3 barrel...I'm not concerned about the outside cosmetic condition, only the bore and chamber.
It looks just like a 03A3 barrel but just too big to fit in the threads of my 03A3 receiver.

The 1917 should have left hand twist rifling.
