My apologies if this has been asked but I could not find anything in the search function...
I've been tinkering with making a push through die to de-rim 22 cases for jackets. Thus far I've managed to push the punch through the bottom of the case. My punch is radiused at the business end and I've lubed the cases.
I think my bearing surfaces are too narrow and shallow through the die. The aperture of the die is about .010" larger than the rim and the depth of the sizing part of the die is about .75" long.
Insights please.
