My brothers may be in for a few...is there a review of these floating around on here anywhere that I could show them?

I think there should be on the original buy or you might get Kfarm to expound on his experience.

OK my night time hunting experience with the hunter has been with the green emmiter only. I tried the red but the range was not near as good as the green. Just to let those who may ask, I'm only doing predator control here on the farm. I've been out and most every animal seems to ignore the light. I've had better luck holding high and coming down on the animal rather than having the rifle pointed at them. Coons, skunks, dogs, coyotes nothing really is spooked if you lower the beam. Been in deer stand late when several does walked up to feed and never paid any attention. Y'all just don't know how bad I wanted to but I just looked, hard to believe on my on place and still was a good boy. Cause I knew if I did green jeans would have popped up. Haven't tried it on hogs, thank goodness they are still in south Arkansas. The way I have it mounted is on a H&R AAC hand I rifle in 300 blackout with Nikon P300 scope with a hunter town suppressor or on a Savage 340 in 30-30 with Nikon 3*9 scope using the barrel clamp and pressure pad. All I can tell you is that I am a light junkie and I'll buy any thing Will sells. Besides all his lights being great to use their great gifts. I sent several originals and zoomies to my son in law in Afghanistan where he left his when he came back. The only thing I don't like so much is the side click, for me the rear switch is better. If you are going to be hunting after dark get the hunter, I got one and got another on order. BTW I've never met Will or have talked to him only correspondence has been checks in the mail. Forgot to say that with the green emmiter 100 yds is easy and might get to 200 and still see the reticle clearly.

    I'll take one.
My wife says I have an obsession with flashlights.
She could be right (but don't tell her I said so).

Can you post picture of the 2 mounts? Can the mount be left on the rifle and light "snapped" in when desired or is it kina-sorta permanent? I'm interested but would like it to be double duty.

8 inches but I can add length if needed - its a pretty simple design so shouldnt be a problem to trade out length if needed.

Ok, I promised mount pics and got a little behind, but I do have a plus to getting behind. I altered a rail mount to fit too so it could be used with a rail.

Is the modified rail mount the same one I received from the previous purchase?

The modified mount is the same mount with the end toward the tailcap cut flush with the back edge of the bracket. If you look at an un-cut mount there is a collar that protrudes about 1/2 an inch. Its an easy job with a bench grinder.
