This should be way better than the other 180gr SIL that is out there. It is made so that there is more strength in the actual design of the boolit itself. And you will not have to beat the mold to death just to get them to come out of the mold. My opinion.

I like this design and would like to try it in a few guns. I'd like to try it in a .308 bolt action, possibly in a 30/30 bolt action and I'm building an AR 300 blackout, but won't have it completed for a little while. I'm just contemplating committing to another mold. I'd like to see if I can use it in the 300blackout to utilize the mold more and use it for a few guns. I don't shoot a lot out of the .308, but would shoot more from an AR.

Got a chance to cast w/ mine today. I have a stack of molds that I haven't used so I was just going through them all to cast some samples to find out what size and weight they cast at. This mold was by far the easiest to cast w/. Bullets dropped right at 188 grains and literally jumped off the blocks once the mold was up to temp. This is my second NOE mold and both of them are by far the easiest molds I own to cast w/. I can't believe I waited so long to buy one.
