Well I bought one of those cheap bore lights!

For $25 I bought one that has a 6.8 mm head. Only need it for 30 cal and up so this should be interesting. It's a small amount of money and I'm afraid to send it down the bore of my Mosin.

Can you give us a link to the 6.8 mm head? Thanks.
