What is the fastest FPS you can push with PC bullets before you start to see leading or any other issues? Can you push them lets say 3600 FPS or am I just crazy for thinking this stuff is good but not that good? I’ve been casting bullets sense the 90s but I just heard about using PC from my friend and now we are going to try PC. I reload for .17 Remington up to 300 RSAUM for rifles and 32 auto to 460 mag 500 mag pistols. I like my guns big and fast but casting for 223, 460 mag, 500 mag and maybe a couple of other calibers I have had issues with leading with recommended velocities for cast bullets so this would be interesting to see how well PC bullets work out.

IIRC he had one rd at 3300 fps with no leading using my bacon grease coating
Bacon Grease seems to be the one color that will tolerate the extreme speeds and the color I recommend to anyone trying to get above 2600 FPS

Just curious, what would be the threshold of speed for gas checks + pc compared to pc alone? Anyone give me a rough idea?
