    mag primers plus what powders

What powders do you guys think work best with mag primers (Excluding h110,296,) I do use mag primers with wc820. This is for my 44, but I am not sure caliber matters its just an over all discussion.

I use CCI magnum primers on everything. I almost never have a fail to fire. Otherwise not much difference that I can tell.

Same here, I use CCI Magnum primers for everything, rifle & Pistol, except the 45 ACP where I use WLP's which Winchester says are for both normal & magnum applications.

I can't verify this but I was always told that the magnum primer was the equivalent of about 1/2 additional grain of powder in terms of its affect on pressure.

I use magnum primers for all ball powders, both rifle and handgun. I also use mag primers with H-4831 and IMR 7828. Everything else gets standard primers.

I use SR primers in my WC820 .357 loads and gives me better accuracy and single digit SD's compared to SD's in the high teens with standard SP primers.

Green Dot. Excellent powder with a magnum primer in .38 Special and 9mm, very inconsistent otherwise.
    Currently casting and loading: .32 Auto, .380 Auto, .38 Special, 9X19, .357 Magnum, .257 Roberts, 6.5 Creedmoor, .30 WCF, .308 WCF, .45-70.

LR Mag. primers help consume slow burning milsurp rifle powders, e.g., WC860, WC 872, IMR 5010.

I personally, do not use mag primers, as I just dont have them available... I use cci large pistol primers. I shoot ramshot enforcer, 2400, and unique. I have never had a issue with failure to fire in my 44 mags, and have shot un-countable heavy loads using 310gr and larger boolits... I also shoot the Keith boolit....
