Don't hold your breath waiting for your CCW or picking up your gun without a 10 day wait.

Here is a copy of the opinion.

I'm just glad to see that even California is being made, slowly but inevitably, to obey the Constitution.

Those people are not liberals. They are statists. Jefferson, Franklin. Adams, Washington, Paine, et al were liberals. The word liberal shares the same roots as liberty and liberate. Liberals advocate the liberation of people from the oppression of overzealous government. Statists place the power of the state above the rights of the individual.

By reading his first post he implied he could and possibly does it. And if you've driven on the road with those individuals, it's not a time for a sense of humor. Maybe he was joking, but living in this state with the drivers that do exactly what he posted, and yes most of those drivers are Mexican, and enter the highway and shoot over the the fast lane and drive 55, he should have placed a disclaimer, I'm joking or the like. If I'd have read his post I may have responded in kind, some people like to screw with other people, and unfortunately some folks react improperly, pull a gun and then we have a terrible mess, all because some fool though it would be funny.
Just some insight from another Kalifornia driver just trying to go from A to B without drama.

Your right but (there's always a "but" isn't there?) the term "liberal" has been hijacked by the left socialists for so long now that the term is very recognizable for exactly what it is. Socialist! Exactly the same with the term "gay". Gay used to mean happy but today it is quite interchangeable with and preferred by homosexuals. Terms meanings do change over time and as an example, right from the time of the Founding there has been conservatives and liberals. Wasn't called conservative and liberal back then, it was Constructionist and Federalist. The Constructionist was 100% behind the Constitution while the Federalist (just as the liberal today) was against the Constitution and in favor of an all powerful central government and not over just individual liberty but also over states rights.

Me? I'm a Constructionist through and through but if you prefer you may use the more modern term and call me a Conservative.

    Welcome to CastBoolits Efin,

You of course could be right, he never came back to say one way or the other but I did and still do look at his post as being made in jest.

Thank you cbrick for the welcome, I've been lurking, reading and learning from this great forum, funny that I post on a non cast related post
Living here in SoCal we deal with the mex drivers all the time, whether it's the issue discussed here in this thread, or the garbage pumping from their exhaust, I'm not an enviro by any means, but it's all around us an the Gov't does 0. Now if my diesel truck belches a little black smoke as I drive around these fast lane hogs, I'll get a letter for gross polluter...
Anyway I digress, your post, known now as a joke, is funny because it's so true, not just the mex, lots of gringo AH's guilty as well...

Perfectly logical, they don't have the money to pay a fine . . . You do. So just who is gonna get away scott free and who is gonna get fined?

You didn't really think that issue was about the environment did you? Just as with the seat belt laws, nothing more than one more thing they can write a ticket for and generate revenue.

Fund generator 100%, "if" it were for their "care" or the environment, the autos would be fined etc. There is a 50 mile zone that's not controlled for their emissions, but do you think SoCal gets that excuse when our emission numbers are higher because of Mexican exhaust in TJ blows North? Not a chance, it's those damned diesel trucks...
