    Dedicated 30/30 Mold

Check this mold out. It's designed JUST for the SAAMI 30/30 chamber and COAL.

    http://noebulletmolds.com/smf/index....pic,306.0.html

There are already 4 buyers and we need 6 more to run it.

I know of no other mold that is made in this way to fit the 30/30 chamber.

Is there a technical drawing available to see? I don't have the dimensions of something like the 311241. What are the improvements over the 311291 or 311041?

If you click on the link, you can read the details and then click on the drawings, you should see both a drawing of a GC and a PB version. The bullet isn't really like any of the three bullets that you list but, the 311041 would be the closest.

    Link works fine for me.

Drawings are at the bottom of the first post.

I have to say I'm tempted with it.

Not sure if this is the reason but perhaps you need to be logged onto the NOE forum to see the images.

I had to go to their website to see the diagram of each style. I made up my feeble mind and committed to an order.Robert

I like the Ranch Dog version that NOE made for a 30-30 bullet with a large flat nose for killing power.

This mold is now a reality. You can sign up for it on the "Active Group buy" thread now.

Made my own mold, .301" ogive and .311" drive. Shoots under 1" at 100 and has done 5/16". I would give NOE some boolits to copy. That boolit looks close but I have a larger meplat. It is 187 gr.Attachment 115322

Free to all. No drawings, need a boolit to copy. The can shown has 3 shots in the hole, no other boolit I have can do that. Has anyone shot cast like that from a Marlin at 100 yards? Some consider me a crazy old coot but nobody makes a revolver shoot like I do either.
I make a cherry by eyeball and cut a mold to get crazy small groups. My .44, 45-70, .475 and .500 JRH boolits have never been equaled. and now the 30-30.
Some of my boolits might become a reality from a mold maker. Maybe not here
I will give them to copy but don't think you know better and change them.

This NOE boolit looks alot like the RCBS SP 150 that I have.
I crimp in the top lube groove and shoots great in both my 30-30's.
    Drops at 160gr.
