    Another source for surplus powder

    http://patsreloading.com/patsrel/prices.htm

Prices and availability look good, web site says they're behind on orders 4- 6 wks.

    I ordered the ABSOLUT for 45ACP; 11 pounds for $58.00 + S/H/Haz.

Pats has been around for a LONG time.

Pat is a good fellow to do business with, however a few days ago when I got ready to order some powder , High Tech beat his prices.

    for a very long time.

    Check the ad again

HiVelocity, the way I read that ad you're buying 5.3 pounds for $58, or $11/pound.

You might want to call and confirm before they ship.

"done up in .3 Kilograms, 8 bottles in box===5.3 lbs, 58.00 (11.00 LB)"

    HiVelocity:

The way I read the ad,------ I think you're going to be disappointed when your powder arrives and it is 5.3 lbs. NOT 11 lbs.
I think Pat should have written it as 5.3 lbs.for $58, per pound cost would be $11.00 per lb.

    You're right.........

    You're right; 5.3 lbs.

Still with the price of powder these days, its still pretty good price.

I think it will hold me for awhile loading 45 ACP.

    Thanks,

    HiVelocity

Pat is such a great guy to deal with that he is swamped with orders. He even quit the gun shows and walk in sales to fill internet orders.

So you have to plan ahead a little.

You can check you order status by calling him.
