Flame Red - Sulfur Yellow - Traffic Blue - Black - White and a bunch of in-betweens.
I just can't decide which to take to the bank.
There are so many calibers and bullet designs because there are so many different targets... the target is everything.

My very first attempt with the .223 turned out quite nice (I know, they are not lead bullets, but I was looking for an easy way to mark the ones with the steel core).

Got some blue, red, yellow, green and white powder (Eastwood) to play with and will post some more pics soon.

Been a while since I had time in the shop so I played with some PC. Started with 240 Ideal 429-224s PCed in Smoke Clear (half checked, half not).

Then moved onto my newest casts from my new MP 454-200. Smoke Gloss Black, Yellow Green, Flare Red. All dry tumble with ASBBs.

Most interesting was a play around one I PCed in clear, baked 2 minutes to just melt PC, then tumbled in green and black bins followed by a full bake.

I've finally found a method that seems to work best for me at the moment... tumble coat followed by rolling them over an aluminum mosquito screen stand up with tweezers or not... they both seem to work... stand up seems better though... here are my latest tries at this... The last pic shows some of my first tries and the latest... with Eastwood Coatings and they work much better than some of the earlier powders I've tried.

I've given up on keeping my powders straight. Now, it's wanton chaos. Just toss some and tumble. I'm getting some pretty cool colors.
My base color right now is Smoke's Carolina blue. I have had trouble with a few powders that refuse to tumble with decent results. When mixed with Smoke's carolina blue...they work PERFECT. SO, I can make the good stuff go further and get cool colors. LOL

One of those is HF red mixed with powder by the pound orange. The other is Carolina blue [smoke] and PBTP metallic purple.

Do I get yelled at if I'm a "noob" and use spray paint?
In 20 pages, there has not been a single colorful shotgun slug.
So... may I present to you, the colors I had on hand:
