    Powder coated bullets pics only

Hey guys we all enjoy looking at the pictures of everyone's bullets but all the threads seem to start filling with comments and ?
So I am starting this thread for Pictures only comments in the post of the picture is fine such as (These bullets are 30 cal lyman mold number 3133112 coated with HF red with what method)
That way you can scroll down the gallery of pictures just enjoying the fine art work.
    Here is a example
    http://
These are 40 cal I used a mehic 170 mold coated with several powders I picked up from a fellow that PC for a living and gave me his leftovers. The great looking young girl modeling ok playing is one of my grandkids. I plan on loading these up in my 40s and my sons new 10mm when he gets a barrel. They were cast with WWs, oh almost forgot I sprayed them sitting on a gig I made using plywood covered in alum siding with nails shot with my trim gun.
Yes that's a lot of info but may answer a lot of peoples ? you do not have to put any details but they are always nice for those who are just getting started or others looking at new ways to do it. If you see a pic that you have a ? about PM the poster of that pic

ALL POST WITH OUT A PIC OF A PC BULLET WILL BE REMOVED

OK THIS IS NOW A STICKY AND IT SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD THAT ALL POST WITHOUT NEW PICTURES WILL BE DELETED THANKS TO ALL FOR POSTING AND ITS LOOKING GOOD. AVOID POSTING WITHOUT PICTURES ANY ? OR COMMENTS CAN BE SENT TO THE POSTER .

    Lets see how this works

If the poster is getting a lot of PMs he or she may want to edit his Post adding the info that is requested. Also if you can post the pic so its shows without a link would be great thanks.

It's not a bad idea. I just got sooooo many coated boolits around here now that I can't get caught up on my shooting, to need more boolits coated!

This was my first family portrait, and even though I have a bunch more molds and colors now, I still like this one.

This was my first attempt. Tin foil was a bad idea as the bullets stuck to it. 2nd attempt use a silicon baking pan with worked well.
I'll try them in my 300 Blackout this weekend.Click image for larger version.

Just got some new powder in from powder-by-the-pound last night. These were tumble coated by placing bare boolits inside a quart ziplock freezer bag, then a teaspoon of the HD orange and the liquid black , tumbling in a #5 bowl and twirling it for about 5 minutes. Coverage was very good, then baked @ 400 for 15 minutes.

Those are a mihec 45 acp 200 RNFP round HP and Penta point.

Notice my solution to boolits sliding while loading into the oven. That's ˝ inch hardware mesh,(some call it chicken wire), under the no-stick foil. Pushing down with each boolit creates a dent in the foil that the boolit then rests in.

I was real happy with the coverage. Before that I had used the airsoft in with the boolits in both the ziplock bowls, AND in my FA tumbler. I never got the kind o f coverage I saw last night, but that was HF red, some have had problems with as I have also. PBTP was fast, 3 days even with UPS ground.'

More pics when I get some loaded---.

    Congrats!!

I'll suggest removing that diffuser alltogether, you don't have any reason to spread out the spray. Reduce the air pressure just to where it still pumps powder and get as close as possible without sparking.

And if you want you can reduce the flash by creating little pedestals for the boolits to sit on. Beagle333 posted lotso pics several months ago. Basically it's JB Welding 6-32 nuts to the baking pan about 1" spacing. Then cover with the non-stick and mash down, starting in the center. Boolits sprayed and baked fall off with no flashing. I have to use new foil every time but some folks get 2-3 cycles before changing it. I'm starting to think the flat black won't flash as much as the glossies, dunno, I don't use it.

This'll get rid of any flashing problems if somebody is getting more than they want around the bases.

Here is what is under the foil (6-32 nuts):

    After spraying:

Makes the bases come out nice and clean, with a little wrap-around effect.
