    Smokes Clear and John Deere Green coated .430 then "Bumped" in BT Sniper's 45 SWC Point Form die. You can see a slight rupture in the PC right at the angle for the SWC extrusion. Since it non-bearing surface, it is cosmetic only.

    Youd be a rich man if you owned the chickens that laid those eggs.

    <Edit>

    Oops, it looks like I violated the rules. It was right there in the title too... Doh.

    Sorry, please feel free to delete my comment. Although Ive technically never powder coated boolits with paint, I have powder coated many thousands off boolits with Hi-Tek powder. Not as pretty but heres a picture of some of my boolits coated with Red Copper Hi-Tek powder (powder mixed with Acetone)

    Just last week I cast my first couple of batches of boolits. Yesterday I PCed them. Today I loaded some to test in a couple of days. These are tumbled with ASBB. Smoke's Signal Blue.

    I need to improve on the coverage of the PC, but overall, I'm happy with it. I did the Dry tumble with Airsoft BBs. I think I need a deeper/narrower container and maybe less bullets at a time. There were some bare spots on some bullets. But, I think they'll shoot just fine.

    'Old Lead', mixed 50/50 blk/wht, two different brands of PC...I guess that's why it's spotty.

    OS OK I really like that "old lead" spotty look too! But as you all can see I kinda got the Granite look to my 50/50 coating.

    I found a large countertop coating oven with good reviews. I'm happy with what I have but if someone wanted to do a larger volume with a countertop oven, this would be the ticket

    https://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-be...ting-oven.html

    The Eastwood Benchtop Powder Coating Oven accommodates most small powder coating jobs and features a highly efficient, anti-stratification fan system for even heat distribution within the oven. A convenient, full-view, low-e glass door provides for viewing parts during the critical flow-out stage $99.99 + $22.33 = 122.32 SHIPPED

    Contents (1) Benchtop Powder Coating Oven (2) Wire Racks (1) Rack Handle
    SPECIFICATIONS Power requirements = 120 Volts AC 50/60hz, 1400 watts Internal dimensions = 16” W x 14” D x 8” H [406mm x 355mm x 203mm] Temperature Max. = 450F+ [232C+]

    Maybe I need to experiment more with my oven before upgrading. Mine has more grunt than that one and is a bit bigger.

    That's a good looking mix too...I'm sorta getting burned out on flashy colors lately like my blue and red's...thought I'd find a color to just stick with for the .45ACP practice rounds. This is the old look for the 1911's candy jar, now they'll be just the old lead color.

    I think I'll stay with the red for my .38S FWC's...they look kinda cool...
