    My Craftsman Gun

I kind of went against the grain here with my Craftsman gun,but it works! and it works great! I know a lot of you say they're no good, and that may be so,but all I can tell you is mine works great and is very easy to set up and use.I was doing the bbdt method, but that wasn't giving me the bullets that I wanted .I think it was the humidity here in central Florida,I don't know,I'm just a begginer. The bullets on the coaster are the ones I sprayed, the others are bbdt. Here is a picture of my Craftsman gun too.You can't really see it in the pictures, but there is a big difference in the way these bullets turned out,the spayed ones are much smoother and more even with complete coverage, they look like I know what I'm doing! My bbdt bullets are splotchy, but I think shootable, they have a lot rougher surface, the sprayed ones are smooth and even.Click image for larger version.

Those turned out great, very smooth. I think I am going to invest in an ES gun. The DT works for me but they aren't as smooth as I would like and I am always looking for a reason to use my air compressor!

Morayman; you really need to change the date stamp on your camera. BTW, great looking ESPC'd bullets. I to have a Craftsman ESPC set up. Doesn't look like harbor freight paint either.

It's my wife's camera, didn't even notice the date.Your right,it's some of Smokes black,I think I'll get some other color's from him,it works really well in that gun, with very little overspray,I'm happy with it.morayman...........

I have never used one of those guns, but sprayed is the way for perfection. Those look great!

I play with a neat little program called GIMP
    http://www.gimp.org/
My daughter who just graduated TX. A&M showed me.
Its one of the programs they use for teaching computer graphics and animation at A&M
By the way it is free to download. It competes nicely with programs like Photoshop.....

Yep, same one I use.. works great for me! No compressor needed, color changes are quick & easy. I do it right here in my office (with the door open and a filtered fan going of course.)

Ken73, Do you know of any sources for extra cups? I have two,so I'm in good shape, but a couple more would be nice. morayman................

When I bought mine, SummitRacing had them for $10 a pop, but they don't have them anymore. I haven't seen any since.

I bought one similar, but not Craftsman! Good idea for an all-in-one gun, but the one I had didn't work. Leaked terribly right outta the box. Part broke off on second attempt, and I had a job getting my money back...

Yea' they don't make these anymore,so parts are almost impossible to get .I have two of them, one is for parts if I ever need them, but my gun is working ,and working well.I did some more bullets yesterday and they came out better than the other ones! I'm getting used to the gun now,and it works flawlessly so far.I sure wish I could find some more cups though, don't really need them ,but it would be nice to be able to switch colors fast.morayman..................
