If that rifle's decorations are indicative of the sort of work product he puts out at his day job, it's no wonder he needed to pawn it.

I won't know until I unwrap it. I have no idea what it looks like under the burlap.

That looks like one of those "Chia Plant Rifles" that you water everyday!

Between the kudzu, virginia creeper, and ivy if you leaned a rifle against my back fence for a couple of hours this summer it would have looked just like that. Must be that Global Warming I keep hearing of.
I must have filled six dump trucks with the stuff this year.
When the ground hugging vines and roots get caught on the front drive axle of my mower it winds up tight as the stuff on that rifle. That was the first thing I thought of when I saw it.

I think he is waiting for the bidding to start before he unwraps it for us. Good hunting to ya.

He has to know what is under the burlap wrappings, he did evaluate it for the pawn price.
Still the unrapping show will be fun to watch.

Well here is what was under the burlap. All I did when the guy brought it is was make sure it wasen't loaded by removing the bolt and looking down the bore. I also cut some of the burlap so I could see the serial number. As I started cutting the burlap off of the barrel today, you can imagine what was going through my mind when I found there was an aluminum tube over the barrel. Thank goodness both ends of the tube are open and there are no holes in the barrel.
