I know this may seem sort of lame with all the other "heavy" "large HP" "huge Meplat" designs currently being run, but is anyone interested in a Lyman 356242 with 4 or more cavities? For those not familiar with the design. It is a plain RN nothing fancy boolit intended for the 380 and 9mm. My particular mold drops at .357 and sizes to .356 effortlessly. With lube and WW alloy they weigh in right at 92gr.

The RN profile makes for flawless cycling in every automatic I have tried. This is also a very accurate boolit in my experience. I would imagine with a the addition of a plain base style gas check this would work well in the 357sig and 38super.

My only complaint about the 356242 is that Lyman only makes a 2 cavity which makes feeding today's high capacity autoloaders a challenge.

Anyone else like the design and want more than two cavities?

I use the NOE clone 356242 124gr version in all my 9's. Mine drops as at. .359. 4c drops a pile of boolits quickly. Also makes a nice light bullet in my .38's.

I have been waiting on a 356404 like discussed in the thread below. The 2 cavities are very hard to find and the 4 cavities are even worse. But even if you find one it will end up dropping small.
