Also I am sold on the caliber, reload for it and have a much heavier 7 X 57 rifle for the deer stand.

    Thanks for any opinions.[/QUOTE]

i suspect they are all OK, but the one I like best is the Ruger #1 RSI. The CZ has a nice trigger, but throated too long (my opinion anyway).

I love the Winchester Model 70 because, in addition to generally good ergonomics, 1) the safety is absolutely positive - it locks the striker and the rifle simply cannot fire when it is engaged, and 2) like all bolt actions, the striker fall is positive and whacks the primer with enough force to light off anything. I have never had a failure to fire with a bolt action, but lever actions and single shots will occasionally give you that annoying "click" due to light primer strikes. It is also a simple action to clean.

Winchester or CZ are both fine rifles. The Zastavas are new and available in 7x57. They are a tad rough out of the box,but with a bit of elbow grease they are a fine rifle. Buying new gets you the benefit of 'it's your rifle.' I don't know if that is important to you, but it is a nice feeling.
