Unique is my go to powder for light/medium .41 Mag loads. For heavy loads prefer H110/W296. If not available I'll use AA9 or 2400. Here's what I run the Lee 195gr SWC thru (mine is a older single cav mold)

    CD
    De Oppresso Liber

    Irag: 91,03,04,05,06,08,09',15', 16',22-23'
    Afghanistan: 09,10,11',14',17'-21'

Get QuickLoad. It's great for playing what if with different powder and bullet combinations without ever having to pull the trigger.
What if I seat my bullet out farther? how much more powder can I put in and still be at a safe pressure level? What if I can't find my regular powder? Which one of the other less used powders would still work for me?

I find it to be a great tool used in conjunction with regular loading manuals.

2400 or aa9 for heavy loads, unique for mid range and light loads.

Blue Dot is an excellent powder for heavy loads. Just be careful when the temps get to below zero. It does some wacky pressure changes at that temp for some reason.

Alliant currently does not recommend BD in 41 Mag. I've used it for years prior to this warning. What you do from here is up to you regarding BD. I prefer 296, 2400, #9. I'd like to try VV110 and enforcer.

bluedot can be a finiky powder in any handgun. On the top end it goes from mild to wild with just a 1/2 a grain increase in charge weight and loaded light it gives inconsistant velocitys. As much so if not more so then 110. I basicaly came to the conclusion that its a shotgun powder and thats all i use it for.
