    MiHec 452374 Solid/HP GB

I was wondering how this one went for you all. I'm particularly interested in the HP version i.e. overall length, nose length, nose nose diameter as well as how it functions in the firearm you used it in and how the design performed with what specific alloy?

Not sure why you never received any responses. While a bit late, here are some answers to your questions:

45_2.1 provided some information about the design of the bullet in this post --> http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...=1#post1747751

Solid = 229 gr. as cast
HP = 212 gr. as cast
HP diameter at nose = 0.22"

With foundry certified hardball and using the penta hollow-point, my bullets cast out at 220 gr.

The bullet measures overall length of 0.645 in.

Your question about nose length will vary depending on which pin configuration is used.

Seating depth *seems* to have a max depth of 0.300 in., but there is another thread here for the original Lyman 452374 bullet worth reading, found here --> http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...h-lyman-452374.
