Anyone who shoots in competition with a 40 S&W should take a serious look at this design. I think it would be great. Even if you don't shoot in competition, it would still be a great choice. IMHO.

You'll have to ask that question on the NOE Forum. Al Nelson has some grooveless designs for HT/powder coating users. There are also some grooveless design Interest Threads, and suggestions on the Wish List sections going on now too.

Any chance of getting this mold with a more rounded nose or a smaller flat. I currently use the lee 175 gr. mold and the feeding is a little clunky in my STI 2011. I would like to have a smoother feeding bullet for competition.

You could go to the NOE Forum, and start a group buy "Interest Thread" for what you want. It you get 10 or more people interested in it, Al will start an "Active Group Buy" for your design.
