    Trigger Job on Browning BL-22

i have a Browning BL-22 that I shoot in Lever Action Silhouette. The little rifle is accurate and fits me well, and when I do things right I score well. But - the trigger is very heavy. Crisp, but heavy.
Does anyone know of a good (not a wannabe) gunsmith that can do a trigger job on a BL-22?
I know all the arguments for and against doing this, but it's either buy a different rifle, or get this one "fixed".

The last guy I took it to - in Arizona - took the action apart and gave it back- still apart (two months later). I'm looking for "better" gunsmith this time.

Sorry I can't help you, the Grade II that I had ~25 years ago had a decent trigger and I never tried to take it apart. Maybe I was lucky.

    Are they anything like BLRs?

I'm sorry I don't have any recommendations, but I have a BLR and you piqued my interest.

I have a BL-22 that also needs a trigger job, so I'm very interested in this thread.

I had one for years got it as a kid. Had a trigger job got it down to the 2# area. It was a tack driver. MOA or better. depending on ammo. Elly Tenex 1 hole at 25 yds cover 5 shots with a dime at 50. After trigger job. Too heavy before to shoot that well.
