I guess I just don't comprehend as well as most here. I opened the link but find nothing that refutes information contained in Larry's test? Actually I find information that confirms parts of the test, I know Larry's measured BC showed higher with the 10"( faster) twist than either slower twist, same as stated by Litz, and also believe they both agree that the faster twist increases spin drift. I would bet you that Larry also agrees that a 308 isn't artillery, I'll even chirp to that. I believe all this drama is just inflated egos flowing thru cyberspace and being egged on by **** stirrers. Too bad;( So for that reason I'm out of here. chirp

I can see rotational spin decreasing the farther from the muzzle. Drag on the bullet also causing a decrease in RPM. Wondering if there is a formula somewhere that correlated the decrease in spin with distance traveled? Kind of like muzzle velocity and B.C. and density/temp on the speed of a bullet.

    And its effects on stability.

As I am positive that you have reviewed the book already.

No.... that is one of those things that is too involved for a limited post here. Too much potential for arguments here also. I suggest you buy the book and read it.

Of course it is. Too shallow for the likes of this forum. It's not like were here to discuss real ballistics or anything. Or is it possible that if everyone actually read that book, they would find that it actually does more corroborating these unnamed "experts" that it does debunking?
    Dont make me laugh.
Since you don't feel like sharing a real opinion except to cast negative aspersions into the atmosphere against "experts" unnamed. This thread is closed.
Say something constructive or say nothing.
Precision in the wrong place is only a placebo.
