Next Arizona Cast Boolit shooting meet up

So after Payson I would like to do another - how about you?

OK - change of plans - how about Oct 11th, Tucson
    Southeast Regional Park Shooting range

    Lunch
Two choices, both fairly centrally located between Range & GS.
    1. Golden Corral cafeteria on 22nd St.
    2. Risky Business restaurant/sports bar on Craycroft north of DMAFB.

instead of Flagstaff as first proposed

I have not been to this range yet
    Northern Arizona Shooting Range
    http://northernarizonashootingrange.org/SCHEDULE.html
    http://northernarizonashootingrange.org/FAQs.html
    http://azgfd.net/artman/publish/Shoo...-opening.shtml

Range Hours: 9am to 3pm Sat, 11am to 3pm Sun for all venues **except for special events or matches**
Be sure to check the schedules for special events that may cancel normal hours.
The Northern Arizona Shooting Range is located east of Flagstaff, south of the Winona Exit (#211) on I40. At the Winona exit, head south along USFS Road 82 for about 1.4 miles. At the junction of USFS Roads 82 and 128, take USFS Road 128 for about 3.8 miles to the junction of USFS Road 128A. Take USFS Road 128A to the Range.

There are signs pointing the way to the range at each intersection.

USFS 82 is a residential road so please do not drive fast enough to raise dust. The speed limit signs have no relationship to the road conditions. If you see dust, slow down! If we receive complaints from the people who live on this road, we’ll consider revoking memberships and range use privileges of the offending parties.

Unfortunatley, Google maps and Mapquest WILL NOT work to get you to the range. DO NOT RELY ON YOUR NAVIGATION SYSTEM!!

    The maps below are interactive.

OUR ROAD IS OPEN, EVEN IF GOOGLE DISAGREES.

Looks like Saturday, Sept 13th would be a good date -

Then wonder into Flagstaff for some lunch - anyone have a good restaurant they like?
    Give some feed back

I'd be open to it depending on my workload (two projects are due about then), but I wouldn't know for sure until that week most likely.

    Thanks.

So do we want to adjust the date - forward a week or two - say Aug 30
    - or push back a couple of weeks? 27th of Sept?

Everyone check their schedules and suggest a date if this won't work for you.

My work responsibilities are such that I can't make firm plans more than a week out. I'll try to make it whenever it works best for everyone else.

My new job goes "Live" the last week of August, so I will have no time off. They just bumped my granddaughter up to EUA's every 3 weeks to treat the tumor in her eye, so we have to be ready to deal with that if anything goes bad. I might have more time come October personally.

Well if we do October, I think we can come lower down - maybe back to Tucson or over Mr Gibson's way on the west side of the state. Thoughts?

I think your best bet is just to pick a date....those that can be there will.....others will just miss out.

Everybody has so much stuff going on these days, it is really hard to get more than a couple people in the same place at the same time. We were lucky to have as many as we did the other day in Payson!

Count me in if my wife and I can avoid the Dr's. I was set on going to Payson when the wife's health took a U-turn. Found the problem, she has an arterial blockage to her lower extremities and could barley walk. Dr's wasted a bunch of time doing X-rays and Cat scans of her hips, legs knees etc. Fortunately she had a routine scheduled visit to her cardiologist and he recognized the problem immediately.

Too bad these are on Saturdays, I work every Sat. and won't make any until my schedule changes eventually.

Unfortunately/fortunately, I've been talked into coaching my son's flag football team and will have a practice that day so I'm unfortunately out this time. Have fun guys and poke a bunch of holes in some paper.

I have had alot going on at work and home, been very busy. I took time out and did alot of preparing for an unsuccessful first half of archery deer season, although well worth the trouble as I found some incredible looking places to hunt and wander around. Shooting has been non existent for me as I hibernate durring the summer. My daughter is in her first year of college, so we play the weekends by ear as to what and when and trips to visit her. I doubt I will be able to attend the October gtg, as much as I would like to see you all again and maybe do some shooting this time. I havent forgotten about the trophy, I made some progess on it but its not there yet.....
Im sure the Az gtg thread will keep going, I will make it to one eventually.
