if i had range scrap, i would use only that. i've been using a 50/50 mix of WW to pure for all my powder coating bullets in pistol cal's up to the 500mag.

But my range scrap has only something about 10 BHN (pencil tested) and thatīs so low for that caliber (for 9mm is advised something about 16 or 17 BHN as minimum) especially with polygonal rifling (G 17).
It is true that iīll be loading this to a lot slower velocities than standard 9mm is (155 will be about 860 ft/s and 147 about 960 - 980 ft/s). And plus for that is, that this bullets has longer leading surface than standard 115 or 124 gn ones.
But itīs little unusual using this soft lead for that type of loads.
Will powder coat make that big difference?
    Thanks

Hey all - I realize this is closed, but any chance there are any more of the 147s? I would kill for one!

Many thanks and sorry to bother if not.
