Yes, I usually do 100 boolits at a time, and the missing powder on the tips is mostly from me standing them up on a tray to bake.
Those 2 powders (tool blue I believe, and kawasaki greeb) coat awesome for dry tumbling.
Edit: I don't use airsoft bb's. I normally use latex gloves which stops my fingers from removing the powder at the tip of the boolit.

any chance of one off these in .359 hollow point still being availiable at all?????
I ordered the .357 mold
I use a 97/3 blend and my boolits are falling out of the mold about .359
Maybe some others could say what they are getting but mine are a bit big.
I'm not complaining just an FYI

I did some like that with different color combinations.
First pick a base color, in this case it would appear to be gloss black.
Tumble or spray then bake as usual.
After cooling set up the secondary color to tumble as usual but use 1/4 as much powder.
Briefly tumble and bake again
Here is my example

Very nice effect!
I love it!
So with the second coating, you are using less powder in the mix?
I use the powder coating from HI TEK with normally 1 part powder and ten parts aceton.
So it is 1 part powder with 40 parts aceton for the second mix, right?
with HiTek the results may be different.
in my case I was using polyester PC
But yes the second coating was just enough for effect.

One thing I would try is to do your base colour coat, and then sprinkle a second colour once you have them standing up on a tray. Then you only have to bake once.
Hm, coating once might be not enough with the HI TEK stuff, where min. two fully coatings are needed...
I guess I don,t know people are having such a time powder coating bullets.
I have a cool whip dish, fill it three quarter full of air soft pellets and put in three heaping table spoons of powdered paint and shake around, then remove with a pair of needle nose pliers and put on my non stick tin foil and put in toaster oven for 10 min. at 400 deg. And they come out as good as anything I,ve seen on here.
The baking instructions that come on most PC bottles does not mention part temperature. For example the harbor freight stuff is 10 minutes at 400 but it takes a least 7-10 minutes before you reach part temperature(depending on the size of your boolit). Just a hint, start the time once the powder fully melts on the bullet then start your timer. That will get your best consistency and durability on your boolits.
Coated and loaded

Very nice looking Blanco! Do you use stain steel media for cleaning your brass?
I fired off 250rounds today (200 were hp) and didn't have any leading or issues like that. 1 pull of the bore snake and it was very clean after. I shot my glock 17 and 1911 and had 3 fail to feeds in the 1911 from the hollow points. They may have been the practice rounds I made which had deformed hollow points.
I tried longshot and imr 7625, I'll post my load info tomorrow but the 7625 was barely able to cycle in either gun.
I use an ultrasonic cleaner with a mild citric acid cleaner, then tumble in walnut media with a polish. They come out looking new.
If you look closely, I tried to duplicate the 2 tone effect with gloss black and signal blue. It did not work out with 2 dark colors. They will still shoot.

Hello everybody,
I´m pretty new here and already have some question.
Please what BHN of alloy you´re using for this bullets 155 RN´s and 147 HP´s?
But Please i need BHN, not amount of pure lead and WW and antimony in your alloy, because I only have some range scrap and pure antimony on my hands so I need BHN as refference.
I´ll youse pencil testing to get some idea about BHN of my alloy.
Thanks a lot.
