Are these still available? I didn't see any on the website. I'd really like to have one if possible.

This was first proposed July 9 and hasn't got into production yet. It's not abnormal for it to take a while.

Looks like he is out of the Mold making business
From a post on the molds and maintenance Link

"Guess I can leave this here as well.

I am no longer making molds. I own the companey name and website but the machines I was making them on where not mine. And I do not work there any more. The owner of the machines was the persion receiving all the money from the molds. I was just a salery employ as we had started a supressure companey togather and we had extra time on the machines so I told him I think we could make molds. Well the gun Market slowed way down for us and so I found another job. I want the molds to keep going I just don't know how I'm going to do it right now. All the inventory was turned over to Kevin who manages the gun store. Thy are filling the orders and shipping them I am no longer in the picture so to speak. I will do whatever is can to help you guys out.
It's not the size of your brass that matters, It's how you tumble it.

I may be able to help us all out here, I'm a newbee to casting but I'm seasoned in machine trades and I have access to a HAAS VF3 for mold development and builds. I don't have the over all mold design, yet. I'm working on it, I'll post pictures when it's done.

If you can machine 18, 0.300 cavities, that are round and all identical...you've got a win. Of course, you have to account for alloy shrinkage, so they won't be 0.300, but somewhat over.

My hats are off to the mold builders here.
Its not an easy task to account for all the nuances involved in casting plus putting up with all the demands of multiple .001 differences people want to make a cast bullet fit THIER barrel or DESIRE ..or their alloy, casting temp ect, ect
I sure hope that ACE will overcome their issues and get back on track.. we need multiple venders to feed our needs and cut down on the wait times

in saying all that.... gixer454 there is a lot to learn about casting before you want to venture in production bullet mold making.
You will really want to seek the advice of several of the bullet designers on here for some guidance

Smoke, that is exactly what I am doing. I am close friends with a couple guys that have over 30 years experience casting bullets. The "senior chief" is guiding me along the path, and I am starting with a buckshot mold for simplicity. I want a #1 mold that throws 15 balls per pour. That said, I am doing this purely out of fun, so if you have advice to share feel free. I am all ears my friend.

Man, that stinks. I've got a couple of their molds and this one was a really neat idea. Hope everything works out.

Dang this stinks!!! All the molds I have purchased lately have been ACE or HM2's.
Mainly because I am too much of a spur of the moment kind of guy. When I get hot to do some thing, I do it.
Waiting 6 months or a year for a mold just does not fit my psychology. By the time I would get the mold I would be onto the next big thing.
Oh well is what it is, I guess.

Pause, you need to become a member over at the NOE forum if you haven't already. The buys over there are done quickly as well with a 15% discount if you sign up. Al also has inventory.

This is not a poke at JT, as I have posted many times how satisfied I am with his moulds. I hope he is able to restart his business.

After speaking with the owners of the shop JT was using to make the moulds at, it seems he's completely awol.
Depending on how things go, they may be making moulds with other machinists doing the work.
    Let's hope.

    Jeff
