So this is apparently lead, but I haven't seen it in person. Anyone out there recognize the markings, or know what it is? Looks like it says ST… LEAD Co….just not sure what the ST is with the missing letters.

Thanks Bob, that looks right. Any guesses on the weight? The seller is estimating at 100lbs, but has a bad back and can't lift it to tell. I'm having him send me dimensions that should get me in the ballpark.

The Ingots I bought recently that resembled that one were 65 lbs
Most likely pure pig lead. Many metal companies sell their pigs in this shape by the pallet. Even Rotometals sells pure lead pigs this shape, based on what I've seen on their website.

He managed to get it on a scale, and it's right at 100 lbs…it's a little bit to far of a drive for me for it. If anyone is in the Midland PA area and interested let me know and I can put you in touch with him. Maybe you can slice me off a 10 lb finders fee or something.
