    Gun Show Report

I went to a local gun show here in SW Oregon Sunday.
I haven`t been to one in months.
    Some observations:
    Plenty of primers. $32/34K Got1K @$32
    Very little powder. $30#
    Some bullets/boolits. Bought 6mm bullets for $15 box/100
    22LR Saw 5 bricks $60/$70 a brick
Wasn`t gun shopping so didn`t check prices.

As a side note, I am seeing powder show up on line.
Components seem to be becoming available here locally.

No waiting for election - Big "O" is calling for gun control again due to the Troutdale Oregon school shooting.

"ammo becomes a control issue" - It is a control issue.

I feel guilty for shooting 22 LR in the backyard. I haven't seen 22 on shelf for how long now? At least in my area. And not waiting in line at 0700 at the local store...

22 lr is high for sure but I think primers at 32-35 a 1,000 and powder around 25-30 bucks a pound is as low as things will go.

Ammo control issue, is just enough that the public will think, do i buy that box of ammo or will the car have enough gas in it until i get paid. Primers and powder are about where they should be, around here people are still hording the popular powders, i have to drive 1.5 hrs for the "limited quantities" sale the one gun shop puts on every couple months.

22lr are just a joke. I go into wally world and theres a guy that is on the cell phone and rudely takes the squrriely looking wally world associate from a customer and says "22's?" sales associate looks at him with a puzzled look " ohh no i'm sorry sir we sell out as soon as the truck comes in." then the guy was talking to the person on the phone "this effin walmart don't have effin 22s either, this is effin BS"

I guess some people only know of big chain stores that have ammo. But my rimfire stuff i get at the guns shops. i have plenty of 22lr but shorts and regular i don't have over abundant amount of. But i sure do hope they come down in price soon. I miss 9.99 brick of Blazers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!
Looking for: 32acp mold-- 22 hornet jwords-- 7.62x54r- jwords, boolits, mold-- 7x57 brass, mold---7.62 Nagant-brass-- 8x56r-brass, jwords-- any old firearm laying around ( I'm starting to take gun smithing classes, and I'm looking for pieces I can work on, PM me with your details)

Poor execution of a problem on your part doesn't constitute a problem on mine.
