I would be happy to drive down and pick up some unprocessed stuff. Different price if you dont have to package to ship?

How about an update on this!

"When" are you going to be ready to ship? I would think the unprocessed would be ready to go fairly quickly.

I & I'm sure the others, would like to know.

I'm thinking if we sell just the as is stuff we will fill 6 small flat rate boxes with it and put those boxes in a med flat rate box. We are thinking .50 a lb plus shipping. Each package would be about 60 lbs. but I'm worried that the loose lead in the boxes will burst the box in shipping.
It's not the size of your brass that matters, It's how you tumble it.

I have received lots of lino & lead in SFRB inside the larger FRB & if the SFRB is packed tightly with the lead then taped & then packed within the larger box with another box cut so that there is an extra liner of cardboard, it fits really well. Then tape the crp out of the outer box & it works fine. Have never lost an ounce & the box usually arrives with little damage.

The biggest problem I can see is if some weaky tries to move the box & it falls from a height. THat can damage the box but if taped well it still survives.

My PO hates my name cause I get a lot of heavy stuff but mostly arrives intact even if not totally pristine.

All that being said; "send me some of this dam lead"! lol

Tyvek envelopes inside the LFRB would be a better idea. Or the tyvek envelopes insides the small boxes. The boxes are prone to tearing. Especially since they made them even thinner recently. The tyvek doesn't tear easily and will hold everything together if it takes a fall.

I semi disagree. I have had boxes with the tyvek arrive really broken & even had the tyvek with a rip in it(don't know if it was sent that way or not) & the whole mess just dumped in a PO letter box. I never "lost" any but it was a mess.

On the other hand, have never had anywhere near the damage with the double boxed packs if properly padded with cardboard & taped.

    FWIW just my experience.

I don't know about you guys BUT I'd sure like to know if you are actually going to do this sale???

Lots of people are interested & have asked for a time frame with no response.

Please just post here if this is happening.

    Thanks
    Tom

I'd be interesting in a box or two at that price.
