    323471

    All,

I got some horse trading done with Ben here on the forum and fell in love with this design, from what I gathered from his writings he has a nice early design of the 323471. I have shot this bullet in my M48 8x57 Mauser that produced groups I am still impressed with, problem is his mold only casts out at .325 and I need a .327 for best accuracy.

I plan to offer this EXACT copy of his boolits in .325 and .327 diameter and will produce it in the $55 blocks. I will see if I can get him to swing by and make an appearance in this thread.

Once I get some feedback (just to make sure I have not missed anything) we will make this "live"

I would be in for one in .327". Another thousandth bigger would be better for my Lebel, but my monotype mix should get me there since you list the size in wheelweights.

    338RemUltraMag ,

    Now you're onto something ! !
That is a fine design and a great shooter.
Looks like you have the " numbers " right also.
Maybe it won't be long until we can all see some good range results.

Just to " wet your whistle "......I'll add some photos of my Ideal mold :

One more thing, it is a SHOOTER ! !

I may need one of those. I guess in .327" since you can always size down but can't size it up. Well, not it any way I feel like. I have a 24/47 that still has yet to find a bullet it likes.

Joshua, you seem to be hitting all the right buttons with my mold "want to have" thoughts. I am interested in this "puppy".Robert
