I'm not wanting to start an aguement but you need to protect you and she can protect herself under Ca. laws. Been where you are and it just won't get better but it will get worse most likely. Document all his harassment, and make sure the police know that you are
the one on the right side of the law. As a general rule, most LEOs (rightly)
divide the population into "the good guys" and "the bad guys". You need to
be absolutely certain that they can always be sure you are a good guy, so
staying squeaky clean is critical. Once it is clear to them that you and GF
are the good guys, they should start sorting out the jerk, and leaving you
alone. Make sure you never to ANYTHING that can be interpreted as blurring
the lines.

I wanted to thank you guys for the advice most of my friends are not as pro 2A as me and she hates firearms so they have zero value to her the process or act of moving to CA and registering my already registered firearms is no big deal, and suddenly the firearms "are more important" than her.

Seriously, think about the advice given here about moving on with your life.
You seem to be sharp guy, don't get tangled up in a situation that will cause you grief for years to come or at worst, could get you into serious trouble.

one thing you should be aware of is that many police departments in CA take the attitude, when it comes to firearms, confiscate and let the courts determine if it is legal or not. Even if it is a legal firearm you may never get it back. Don't know about the Truckee.
