I'd like to get my Lemon Squeezer restored

I have a S&W Lemon Squeezer in .38 S&W that is in rough shape and want to get it restored. I already know that restoration will destroy value and many will think that it's not worth it....IT IS TO ME. Ya see it was my great grandfather's. He ran a general store/Post Office in a small Pennsylvania town. I don't care what it costs (within reason) but I want it done to preserve a family heirloom and pass it on. I have had no luck, at all, in my quest for a reputable person/company to do the restoration. Is there anyone out there that knows where I should start?

Turnbull was the first name that came to my mind also. I have not seen their work in person, but I have never read any thing negative about it either - in print or on the internet.

I have seen Turnbull's work in person and they are without a doubt truly masters of the gun art.

They are with out doubt the best Color Case Hardening outfit in the world.

All you have to do is go to their website and look at the before and after pics of their work and if that doesn't sell you then nothing will.

They are also not cheap, but when it comes to work of this type "rushing it," is not what a competent practitioner would take part in.

You can't rush this type of work since everyone must have their head in the game every time they touch the gun. Any mistake costs dearly to make right.

Thanks for all the replies. I have had Turnbull do one of my 86's. I wish I would have had him CCH my receiver, I had him blue it instead. He definitely is world class and is only about an hour from my home. Are there any other places?
