    A.C.E. Co. Rifle PC Molds

I am seeing a large swing to the PC option in my buys, I would like to offer a group buy that incorporates a smooth and easy way to make multiple molds in multiple calibers and weights, I think I have the solution.

Here is the drawing of the cherry I will order, you can get any length (up to 1.516) and any caliber.

I will offer this in any of my mold sizes:

    2 cavity $55
    4 cavity $100
    6 Cavity $125

    Diameters available:

Any nominal bore diameter starting at .284 (eg. a 30 cal mold will measure .308)

I will offer a top punch for an additional $5

    Thank you
    Joshua

So if I wanted a 30 cal it can only be cut at .308"? Lots of guys are running slick sided bullets at. .311" for 30 cal. We just had some slick sided 230gr 30 cal Hi-Tek coated bullets tested. They were sized to .311" and had zero lead fouling of the barrel.

Once you get a .308 bullet plus .002-.003 worth of pc it will be proper diameter

Yeah, I was asking because I run Hi-tek and there's no way it'll build up that much. I'd be lucky to get a solid .001" increase in diameter with this coating.
    Thanks anyway

It would probably be a help to all of us uninformed old fellas to say what PC stands for. Yes I understand it means "Powder Coat", but I`m sure it confuses alot of we older folk that don`t coat boolets. Thanks for allowing my .02.Robert

I like the idea, and I'd be interested in a light 30 cal, but it would have to drop at .310" or a little larger. I've found powder coat works the best with a little compression during sizing, just like paper patch, and I'm sizing to .310" for my .308 bores. No interest at all in a .308" as cast diameter, sorry.

FWIW, I really hope you can make these in .310-.311", I really like the idea of a ~130-140gr PC bullet with a 5r nose for the 300 Blackout. It's what we've all been waiting for. (well, me anyway )

one of these would work great at 401 diameter in a sabot for my 45 caliber smokeless muzzleloader.
