    410610 ???

    Hey guys,

Has anyone had success with 410610?
Is anyone making GC's for 41's any more?
Eventually every man will answer one question.
"Will that be smoking or non-smoking."

    God bless,
    Couper

I use that boolet in a 7.5" Red Hawk along with 410459, both shoot good,, when I do my part.

Midsouth no longer lists the Hornday 41 GC. They do list one for the 416 which might work.

You mighy check with Gater, seems like there was a group buy some time early last year.

I couldn't get the 416 checks to work with straight WW's. They were too big if I recall. Of course it could have been just my mold but I have heaed of others having similar problems. I did but a hand tool for making checks out of aluminum but they are a bit small so I have not had a chance to try them yet.

I wish I would have gotten in on the group buy. Now I'm kicking myself.

There is one option that works, and two options that work - sort of. Advertise here for Lyman .41 checks made specifically for that boolit. Of the other two (anneal and spread .416 checks, anneal .44 checks) probably the latter would work best on a bullet made for the Lyman checks.

I've got about 4000 stashed.I look at every gunshow for more. Sometimes you get lucky and find a box or two. Don't blink and buy them. Maybe we all need to pester Lyman to run some more.
If you want your children to follow in your footsteps, be careful where you walk.
Beware the man that only owns one gun; he probably knows how to use it.
