    Ballard .46 Rimfire to centerfire?

I'm thinking about working with an early Ballard military chambered in .46 RF. Any suggestions about the centerfire conversion of the breech?

How about availability of suitable brass for conversion?

    Bullet choices, etc.

I know it's a weaker cast action and suitable only for BP or equivalent loads.

One of my friends had one. He had a turned brass case made with a chamber at the edge of the case for .22 rimfire. He pulled the bullets from .22 shorts and used them to prime that one case. He shot that rifle with only one case.
