Today I bought some HF Yellow and mixed some with my Red to make Orange but it didnt mix completely... I kind of like it. The first coat looked better as far as the contrast between the 2 colors but it still looks good after the 2nd coat.

Thats funny! I did the same experiment with those colors with my Lee 440 50 cal as well. Kinda bummed I jacked up that mold trying to hollowpoint it myself.

Interesting. You kinda have the tarnished copper bullet colors going on there. Bet you could shoot those in a no cast range without people taking a second look at them.

Using 0-1" micrometers and cast from fairly soft "range" lead, they measure exactly 0.356". Weights are 139+/-0.4 gr

Found one I like, it's a roughly half & half blend of HF black, and Prismatic Powders Limelite Green. Might be better with just a pinch more green in it. Probably need to mix them a little better too, but I think they look cool. Friend of mine gave me the idea. Really hard to tell because of size reduction of picture, but limelite green has silver sparkles in it!

I guesstimate that I use maybe 2 teaspoons for 100 230gr .45's. I'm guesstimating that there's at least 50 such scoops in a pound of HF powder. By that math, there's enough powder for 5,000 .45's in a pound. These are some rough estimates, but seem about right so far. I am dry tumbling, so there's very little powder wasted.

Well Duke, your estimate was close to mine for most pistol .45s. Right now I'm still playing with different colors. No pics but did a short video.

I've been getting approx 4/5k from a half pound of Eastwood.

    Added: 9mm in 135 and 147.

Just did some 120gr TC 9mm boolits last night, I was trying to get just grey but it didnt mix as well as I wanted it to. Maybe a bit more mixing and it will stop spotting. 1 table spoon HF white, 1/2 table spoon HF black
